Rakul Preet Singh On Jackky Bhagnani’s Situationship Remark
On Friday, April 24, Rakul Preet Singh took to her Instagram stories and shared a note stating that her husband’s remark was taken out of context. She wrote, “We had a great laugh today about how one line from an hour-long conversation can suddenly become the headline. Funny… until it’s not. Context matters. Nuance matters. Conversations deserve better than being reduced to clickbait. Maybe it’s time platforms take a little more responsibility for the narratives they create.”
For the unversed, this comes after their interview with a YouTube channel called Zingabad went viral. During the conversation, Jackky Bhagnani spoke about his marriage with Rakul and said that they both had been through many highs and lows and were not seeking anyone to fill a void in each other’s lives. He went on to say that while they both were exclusive to each other, he still saw their bond as a ‘situationship’ in the sense that they shared openness and ease in communication.

Bhagnani further said that they had complete transparency and revealed that even if an ex-girlfriend called him while Singh was around, he would not hesitate to answer. He further called her his ‘best friend.’
