Home Town Cha Cha Cha
Are you into K-Dramas because they are quite trendy these days? And this is one of my favourite Korean dramas. The story revolves around a dentist who leaves the hustle and bustle of city life and moves to a village in Gongjin. Her life changes in ways she never would have imagined, and the woman also finds the love of her life in this place. The narrative instantly pulls you in and takes you to the gorgeous little town, leaving you wanting to start a new life spontaneously!
Lootera
Based on O. Henry’s short story The Last Leaf, the film is an emotional watch, heads up. The film has strong performances by Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha, and it’s one of those films that gives justice to the short story in terms of delivering emotions perfectly. The emotions of longing and heartbreak, love and more.
About Time
Starring Racheal McAdams and Domhnall Gleeson, the film is about a man who keeps time-travelling, hoping to change his past for a better future. But by the end, there is a beautiful realisation that he goes through, and it’s also a life lesson we all need. It’s a heartwarming love story with some hard-hitting realities on life and partnership. Watch it if you haven’t!
When Harry Met Sally
Quite a love story that is spread over a period of time because the two leads keep crossing paths. Life gradually changes, and the two come closer. The writing and screenplay of the film are very interesting, and especially the on-screen chemistry of the two actors. There are some very relatable conversations in the film, too!
Zootopia 2
A sequel is always average; well, Zootopia 2 has broken that for me. Judy and Nick’s journey is not just adventurous, but it’s straight from the heart to the heart. The two also undergo a beautiful journey in their relationship, and this story is perfectly balanced with the fun story that Zootopia is known for.
A Beautiful Mind
Starring Tom Hanks, A Beautiful Mind tells a story about Mathematics genius, but it’s so much more than that. The character in the forefront is an absolute delight to watch, and the performance is the cherry on the cake.
The Lunchbox
It stars Irrfan and Nimrat Kaur in the lead, and I am sure you must have already heard about. This movie is a perfect rainy-day watch that can’t be missed!
