R Madhavan, who has starred opposite Kangana Ranaut in two superhit films namely, Tanu Weds Manu and Tanu Weds Manu Returns, has all good things to say about the actress. In a recent interview, Maddy was all praise about Kangana and gave her credit for her contribution to the films she stars in! Well, we surely agree with Madhavan on this one.

Journalist Rohan Dua shared a clip of his interview with R Madhavan on Twitter where he asked him how he viewed Kangana Ranaut’s success. To which Madhavan said that actresses like Kangana and Shalini are women with an opinion. He said these actresses are neither pushovers nor will do a couple of dances and get slapped by the male character in films.

R Madhavan also added that it is important that we recognise the strength these actresses bring to the screen because of their personal achievements as well their experience. The Rocketry actor and director also showered heaps of praise on Kangana Ranaut, and said that she is an ‘extraordinary actress’ and also that he is in awe of the kind of films she is doing currently.

Honestly, Kangana Ranaut has taken some major risks in her career which not a lot of actresses have the guts to do. Even after her film Dhakad tanked at the box office, she moved past the failure. On the work front, Kangana has the biographical film Emergency in the pipeline wherein she is going to play the role of Indira Gandhi. The poster and the first look are proof of how commendable of a job she has done in picking up traits of the late prime minister.
