‘Love Again’ Trailer: Priyanka Chopra, Sam Heughan’s Rom-Com Looks Heartwarming. Is That Nick Jiju?

Priyanka Chopra earned fame and recognition in Hollywood with her debut series Quantico. From action to sci-fi, she starred in all sorts of movies so far, and she recently also ticked off being the leading lady in a rom-com film with her new film Love Again. Interestingly, this film is the English remake of SMS für Dich, a German film based on Sofie Cramer’s novel. Starring Sam Heughan, Celine Dion, Omid Djalili, Russell Tovey, and Celia Imrie, in prominent roles the trailer of this film was dropped on Valentine’s Day, and here’s all about it.

From the trailer of Love Again, it looks like Priyanka Chopra, who plays Mira Ray, is a caricature artist who is mourning the loss of her fiance. She has been grieving for two years and is unable to move on either. Mira is heartbroken, she fills the void she feels because of her fiance’s demise, by wearing his clothes, and texting his old phone number. But little does she know that the number has been reassigned to Rob Burn AKA Sam Hueghan as his work contact.
As Mira sends messages to that number venting how much she misses her fiance, Rob finds himself getting intrigued by these messages and wants to know who has been sending them. Fate decides to unite them, and well, there’s the second chance at romance trope!
Priyanka and Sam’s chemistry is so sweet, that it instantly made me go ‘aww’. They look super cute together. And well, seeing PeeCee act was so refreshing, even the camera missed her as much as we did! I let out a giggle when I saw Nick Jonas’ cameo in the trailer! Uff, Nick looks at Priyanka with heart eyes on and off camera, and that is the kind of love everyone deserves. Also, how you can forget the great Celine Dion singing her hit track ‘That’s the Way It Is’ to prove to Priyanka that she, indeed, is Celine?

The movie promises to be fun, emotional, and romantic and has all the elements it needs to get a rom-com right. Directed by James C Strouse, Love Again will definitely be a special film for all Priyanka Chopra fans, because we love our queen in every role! Love Again will hit theatres on May 12, 2023.
