Payal Rohatgi, Sangram Singh Are Beaming With Happiness In Their Post-Wedding Festivities Pics And Videos
We all love a good old big fat Indian wedding and more so when it’s a celebrity wedding. Celebs usually tend to go all out on their big day and they often set some goals for us all. Plus TBH, we just love watching them in their natural surroundings as they begin a new chapter of their lives. Recently, actress Payal Rohatgagi and her boyfriend of 12 years, wrestler Sangram Singh tied the knot in a magical but intimate ceremony that took place on July 9 in Agra. While everyone else is still gushing over their dreamy wedding pictures, the actress dropped some more pictures from their post-wedding rituals and we just cannot get over how happy the couple looks.
Payal Rohatgi posted a carousel post with several pictures of the couple during the post-wedding rituals. In the first picture, the actress can be seen sitting with her hubby with an elderly relative sitting between them as she showers the newlyweds with blessing. It is followed by two pictures of the couple playing the fun game of finding the ring during their post-wedding rituals. After which there are pictures of Sangram Singh, Payal and some of their relatives sitting in a line for another ritual. Payal can be seen holding a bowl of sweets and a shagun ka lifafa as she hands them to the relatives. This ritual is usually a part of the post-wedding festivities in the Haryanvi culture where the brother(s) of the groom sit either in front of their bhabhi or in her lap (depending on how old and heavy they are :P) and refuse to get up till she feeds them sweets and gifts them shagun. The carousel also has several other pictures of the newlyweds and their families having fun and smiling to their heart’s content during the post-wedding festivities. TBH, this looks so much fun!

Actress Payal Rohatgi also posted a video from her pag phera ceremony as she returns to her mayeka after her wedding. Her mother can be seen doing Payal’s aarti after which she can be seen entering the Rohatgi family home after kicking a kalash of rice and putting her feet in a red-coloured liquid made of alta and leaving her footprints on a white cloth laid in her path by her family. These rituals are the same as the griha pravesh of a bride in the groom’s home but these rituals were also done by the actress’ family to signify the return of their ghar ki laxmi after her wedding.
