Parineeti Chopra Says She Started Following Politics After Marrying Raghav Chadha, Playfully Complains “He Doesn’t Follow Entertainment At All”

Amar Singh Chamkila actress Parineeti Chopra recently shared that she started paying more attention to politics after marrying Raghav Chadha, a politician and member of the Aam Adam Party from Punjab. She confessed that although she wasn’t previously interested in politics, being married to Raghav has made it important for her to start following it. Despite this, Raghav isn’t as interested in the entertainment industry and has always been away from the limelight.

The couple met during their college days in London and have very different careers. Raghav is a young and successful politician, and at only 35 years old, he is one of the youngest Members of Parliament. Meanwhile, Parineeti continues to act in Bollywood, with her latest performance in Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila.

Parineeti playfully mentioned that she often has to remind Raghav about her movies and songs because he knows very little about her industry. She enjoys that they mostly talk about life rather than work, which she finds perfect. She talked about having to put herself into the world of politics now. Being from different fields of work, it doesn’t come as a surprise that the couple perfectly blends together with the best of both worlds.

Parineeti confessed that she never knew Raghav was such a big deal of a politician. Talking about the first time she met him, Parineeti said she had no idea who Raghav was. She said that the people who followed politics knew who he was but she was quite unaware of the whole story of him being a big face in politics. Further into the chat, Parineeti said that after learning about him, his work and all that he has done, Raghav is one of the most impressive people. Parineeti spoke about the perks of marrying someone who’s not from the same industry.
