‘Panchayat 2’ Trailer: Phulera Is Up Against New Challenges, But Looks Like You Won’t Miss Your Rofl Moments!

I am a person who enjoys watching series or movies to which I can personally relate. For me, Prime Video’s Panchayat Season 1 was a delight to watch. I loved the essence of rawness that the first season had. An educated man trying to work in an unfamiliar environment of a village setting was hilarious but also called out the elitist attitudes that most of us have about rural India. Not to mention, all the heartwarming moments were so well-written and packaged in bite-sized episodes and acted beautifully by the cast, which includes Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Chandan Roy and others. No wonder, I was more than excited to learn that this amazing series will be back with its second season on May 20, 2022. The trailer has just dropped in and I cannot wait to share my thoughts on it with you.

On Monday, Amazon Prime released the trailer of Panchayat 2 and it will surely take away your Monday blues. The series is directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and produced by The Viral Fever. It has the same leads as before- Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav and Biswapati Sarkar, with new cast joining in. One surprise element in this season is my very favourite content creator, Satish Ray. The trailer looks very promising indeed. With all the new struggles and challenges that Phulera is up against, this series is all set to take us on a rollercoaster ride. The funny aspects of the series seem to be intact even in the second season. In this new trailer, the charm and rawness of those one-liners can be seen once more. We can also expect some more ROFL moments now that Satish Ray has joined the cast.

The glimpse of the upcoming season can revolve around highlighting some serious issues in India. One, as we all know from the previous season, is the scarcity of graduate job opportunities. This season, we can anticipate more issues affecting villages, such as a lack of good roads and insufficient attention from higher authorities. The season also appears to have a love angle, which you can’t deny but certainly expected with this one.

Overall, the trailer has made me want to watch the series even more, and I am glad about that. The brilliant way of merging serious issues with subtle humor definitely makes it my kind of watch. Also, what do you think about it? Do let us know!

It releases on May 20, 2022. Mark your calendars!
