Last year, Palaash Muchhal and Smriti Mandhana’s wedding got cancelled due to unknown reasons. Now, the latest report reveals that a complaint has been filed against Palaash under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. As per the TV9 Marathi report, the complaint has been filed against Vigyan Prakash Mane, a resident of Sangli and a childhood friend of Smriti. The report reportedly alleges that Palaash Muchhal made a racist remark against the complainant during an argument. The incident reportedly took place on November 22 at a toll plaza on the Sangli–Ashta road.
Going by the reports, the argument was over some debt that Palaash had with Mane. Reportedly, he had borrowed around 25 lakh rupees for a film production, but later did not pay. When the complainant raised this issue, the two landed in an argument, and that’s when Palaash allegedly passed the remark. The police have registered the complaint.
