She told Blue True Digital that she was sad, as her project was not released in India. While talking about how Mahesh Bhatt would have reacted to the film, Meera mentioned that he would be very happy. She also said that his daughter and actress Alia Bhatt would also be very happy. She said that when she used to stay at their home, she would sleep with her. Meera then said, “Bade khush hote woh film dekh kar, mujhe call karte.”
While praising the Rocku Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani star, Meera stated that she was very smart and intelligent, adding that she was good in her studies. While talking about her reported claims against the filmmaker, she dismissed them, stating that nothing like that happened, and he is a very good director. For the unversed, she starred in the film titled Nazar, which was released in 2005 and directed by Soni Razdan and written by Mahesh Bhatt. Later, both Soni and the filmmaker had reportedly dismissed her claims and threatened legal action against her.
