As a cinema lover, I like to keep an eye on all award ceremonies. I know it takes a lot of effort and time but it’s totally worth it, not gonna lie. There are innumerable reasons for it; first, you can plan your next movie-marathon list, second, you get to obsess over so many celebrities and celeb interactions, third, you can brag about how you have all the latest entertainment news and how people keep bugging you for the information (this one is my favourite). Now, as we all know, the biggest in Hollywood – the Oscars 2022 is just around the corner and we are excited to find out all the winners of the year. But wait, when and where people like me can watch the 94th Academy Awards in India?

The Oscars 2022 is all set to take place at the original venue – Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. This year, Amy Schumer, Wanda Sykes, and Regina Hall will make us laugh and will keep us entertained during the ceremony as they are the host of the show. FYI, Oscars 2022 is going to be shorter than the previous ceremonies because eight categories of awards will be presented off-screen before the televised ceremony starts.

1. When Is Oscar 2022?
There’s some good news and bad news for the Indian audience who desperately want to watch the 94th Academy Awards. The good news, you can watch the ceremony on multiple platforms and the bad news is that you have to wake up early in the morning if you want to watch the live telecast of the ceremony in India.

The official date of Oscars 2022 is March 27, Sunday, in the United States. However, for the Indian viewers, the ceremony will be telecasted live on March 28, Monday, early in the morning. Kuch paane ke liye, kuch khona padta hai, remember?

As we said, Indian viewers can watch the show on multiple platforms. You can watch the live telecast of the 94th Academy Awards on Disney+ Hotstar, the red carpet will start at 5 am on March 28 and the award ceremony starts at 5:30 am.
