Olivia Wilde Drops Trailer Sneak Peek Of ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ Ft. Harry Styles And Florence Pugh At The CinemaCon Event. Humko Bhi Dekhna Hai!
I feel like teasers and trailers are super tricky to make. Either you reveal way too much information or you reveal so less that people usually don’t understand whether the movie is worth the watch. I feel like a good teaser or trailer has a fine balance between the two; not so less that it doesn’t catch attention but not so much that one loses any sign of intrigue. Hence, I was pretty fascinated when I watched the teaser Olivia Wilde uploaded to her social media accounts of her upcoming directorial feature, Don’t Worry Darling. At the recently held CinemaCon event, Wilde showed glimpses of the film featuring Harry Styles, Florence Pugh and Chris Pine.
At the CinemaCon event held in Las Vegas, Wilde spoke about Don’t Worry Darling and also showed some pretty steamy scenes from the upcoming film. The trailer brought the 1950s back to the Las Vegas event as it showed glimpses from the psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling. The trailer featured Harry Styles and Florence Pugh getting intimate along with Chris Pine’s character. The trailer begins with Styles and Pugh in bed as husband and wife living a very idyllic life in an experimental community in the California desert which is lined with palm trees and fancy cars. The film revolves around Pugh getting increasingly suspicious of her husband’s (Style’s) project called the Victory Project which promises to change the world.

Wilde took centre stage at the event to shed some light on the ideas and inspirations behind Don’t Worry Darling. She said that the film had been inspired by Inception, The Matrix and The Truman Show. According to Variety, she phrased Don’t Worry Darling as “a love letter to movies that push the boundaries of our imagination.” She further said that the central theme of the movie is questioning what would it take to give up one’s perfect life to do the right thing and if you are, “willing to dismantle the system that’s designed to serve you?”

Wilde also gushed about her boyfriend, Harry styles in Don’t Worry Darling and said that he is an up and coming actor and that he is nothing short of a revelation. She also lauded Pugh for being a “brilliant, sexy, fierce and tough” actor, according to sources. Don’t Worry Darling is all set for a theatrical release on September 23, 2022.
