Nushrratt Bharuccha’s name grabbed all the headlines on Friday, October 2, after she met with an accident during her work trip to Bali. According to media reports, Nushrratt sustained a spinal injury at the said location. She was soon taken to the hospital and is being treated for the same. The actor’s team reportedly revealed that they are preparing to bring her to Mumbai by air ambulance for the surgery and further treatment after doctors’ consultation. Additionally, it was also mentioned that they are prioritising Nushrratt’s health and medical care, adding that her professional endeavours for the next few weeks will be affected as the post-surgery recovery will take a long time. Her team is yet to reveal the details about the accident. In the meantime, they have asked people to respect her privacy and also thanked well-wishers for their support. Sources told NDTV that she had travelled there for a work commitment and had extended her stay by a few days.
