Neha Dhupia Puts Her Foot Down Against Paps Taking Back Shots
While attending an award show recently, Neha Dhupia made sure to put her foot down against paparazzi taking shots of her back. She addressed the photographers present there by asking who takes backshots. She told them not to capture her or any other person’s shots from the back. While doing this, the actress also highlighted how they have gotten tired of saying this to them, adding that it was not their job. Neha stated that they step out and paps do this to them. In the comments section, fellow actress Sonakshi Sinha also reportedly backed Neha. She commented, “Well done, Neha.” Watch the clip below!
How Long Will This Go On?
If women have to ask people to respect basic boundaries, then the society is truly cooked. It’s so sad that Neha Dhupia and other actresses have firmly asked paps not to capture their shots from the back or from the wrong angle; however, it seems that some people are not ready to listen. Such objectification is so problematic because women’s bodies are treated as public content. It feels as if some people think that they are entitled to capture the actresses’ bodies in any way they want. Just because they are celebrities, it doesn’t mean that they have lost the right to dignity or consent!
