Growing up being a girl, my parents have never promptly said yes to meet ups with friends, fearing my safety. And on those rare occasions when they did, I had to give them a set time by when I would have to be home, share the contacts of all those I am going out with and whatnot! I am sure that you all must relate to this. This was the scene at my place when I had to go out with my friends and return home within a day. Hence, I never had the guts to ask them for permission to let me go on a solo trip because I know their answer was going to be no. So why do the mehnat? But actress Neena Gupta is setting a misaal for all those like me by setting out on a solo trip for 10 days outside India and I am loving her confidence and candour with which she has shared her experience.
Neena Gupta Takes A Solo Trip
Taking to her Instagram account, Neena Gupta shared a video of her from inside the plane where she is recounting her thought process of undertaking this solo trip. She is saying she is on a plane and is going abroad for a solo trip for the first time. Neena Gupta was actually supposed to go with someone but they cancelled at the last minute. But the since the tickets were booked, she was unsure of what to do next. She then reveals it was her nephew who encouraged her to go on this trip alone.
Neenaji further went on to recall that her father used to tell her the popular saying ‘Himmat-E-Marda To Madad-E-Khuda’. Lastly, she says that she will let us know how her trip is going and also asked her fans to wish her luck!
