From Playing Dhaak, Dancing, To Fully Enjoying The Pujo Vibes, Navya Nanda Naveli Spent A Jovial Day At The Durga Puja Pandal!

Growing up in West Bengal, one of the most awaited times of the year for me had to be Durga Pujo. The kind of vibe that is present in the air of Bengal is unmatchable during that time of the year. Visiting pandals, eating yummy food, and the soothing music from the Dhaak, are the little joys of Pujo. Sadly, the year’s pujo has now come to an end, but, worse than this was that I could not be in my home state to enjoy the pujo vibes. However, somebody did, and that is Navya Naveli Nanda. The way Navya spent her Dussehra, actually makes me a little jealous, and also reminded me of those good old days. From serving delicious fish fries, to dancing to the Dhaak music, Navya too found her joys in all those little things.

The granddaughter of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nanda, shared a compilation video of her day on Dussehra. She took to her social media handle and gave us a glimpse of how fun-filled her final day of Durga Pujo was. In the video, Navya can be seen doing some really fun activities. Navya Nanda danced with others in the Durga Puja pandal, and she even played the Dhaak. That’s definitely fun! You can clearly see that Navya is enjoying every moment of her day and is smiling throughout the video. She even added a small clip of how happening the vibe of the Durga Puja pandal is.

Talking about some Bengali relishes, Navya fried and served pakodas, and fish fries at a food stall. In her caption, she wished all her fans and followers, “Subho Bijoya Dashami”, (Happy Dussehra). For the background music in the video, she added the song ‘Tapa Tini’. Now, Navya Nanda’s grandmother, Jaya Bachchan is a Bengali, and in this reference, Navya’s mother, Shweta Bachchan commenting on the post wrote that by doing all this, Navya is going to make her “deedu” proud. Well, having a diverse and culturally rich family makes is lucky indeed, and Nayva Nanda is clearly adapting to it.

Well, it’s actually good to see people trying to acknowledge and learn about their culture and traditions. In fact, I think it is great learning for us that we should be well-aware of our roots, and no matter how modern we become, these joys from our festive traditions should never be forgotten. Also, for me, the whole video of Navya Nanda was quite nostalgic.
