Munawar Faruqui Says Pranit More Has Suffered Enough As Rs 370 Biryani Row Escalates. Accountability Matters!

Comedian Pranit More has been under fire ever since the outrage against the Rs 370 biryani “joke.” Both he and 23-year-old Himanshu Jangra received massive backlash after the former stated that he expected s*xual favours from a woman after paying on a date to get a “return” on his investment. After the comedian apologised for giving a platform to this, Munawar Faruqui jumped into the conversation as well. Read to know what he said here.

Munawar Faruqui On Pranit More

Munawar Faruqui has urged the internet to stop trolling Pranit More and “move ahead.” He took to his Instagram stories and addressed everyone, stating that, though whatever he said was deeply problematic, he also disagreed with what the woman (Sejal Pawar) also said in another comedy video. Munawar added that an FIR has been filed against him along with major career damages as well as a destroyed reputation in society, so this should be the end of the scrutiny against More. He stated that all of them had “suffered enough” and that people must stop until one of them “loses their life” and the matter goes too far.

Faruqui said that everything had a limit and that they would be facing the legal consequences of whatever they said. Both Pranit and Himanshu Jangra have apologised for their remarks in videos, and have asked for another chance while stating that they would be better after this. For the unversed, Jangra used to work at Starvik Design, after which he was terminated by founder Vivek Vishwakarma. A case has also been registered against the comedian by the Maharashtra Cyber Police. On the other hand, the National Commission for Women (NCW) have summoned both him and Jangra for their “jokes.”
