We Love Mindy Kaling’s Humourous Response To Rumours Of BJ Novak Fathering Her Children. Feel That Burn, Gossip-Mongers!
When a married woman announces her pregnancy, people get all happy and congratulate her! And if a single woman announces pregnancy, eyebrows shoot up to the forehead. If people don’t know whom the woman is having a kid with, they will immediately go on to ask the dreaded question – “Iss bacche ka baap kon hai?” which translates to, “Who is the father of the baby?” This is the most annoying question that I am sure irks those women who do not want to reveal such personal things to strangers who are merely asking such questions to satisfy their curiosity. Well, Mindy Kaling, who has two children, has not revealed the name of their biological father either and people cannot stop speculating who it would be.
In an exclusive interview with Marie Claire, Mindy has addressed the rumours surrounding who the father of her children is. People spread rumours and said that BJ Novak is the father of both of her children. In response to this, the 43-year-old actor-writer-director said that Novak is the ‘godfather’ of her children and also that Novak and her kids have a great relationship.

Elaborating more on her rapport, Kaling went on to say that rumours have not affected her happiness nor have they affected Novak. Quipping in her classic humour, Mindy further said that if such rumours are going to be exciting people, then she’s okay with it.

We love Mindy for her straightforwardness. We also love the fact that she did not spill details about who the father of her children is and how much love and respect she has for BJ Novak. Mindy and Novak shared screenspace in the cult classic sitcom The Office and the two even dated for a while. She gave birth to a daughter in December 2017 and to a son in September 2020.
