Popular television actress Aditi Sharma has gained massive attention due to recent developments in her personal life. Reports indicate that she lodged a domestic violence case against her husband Abhineet Kaushik and members of his family in Mumbai. Police registered a formal complaint at Goregaon Police Station on July 31, 2026, naming Abhineet Kaushik, his mother Urmila Kaushik, and his sister Kirti Kaushik. Officers are currently examining the matter. Aditi has alleged physical and mental mistreatment, violence at home, physical attacks, improper use of her wedding jewellery by the three individuals, and more. Read on to know all about it.

As per reports, Aditi first met Abhineet during an online acting class back in June 2021, and over time their friendship slowly turned into a relationship. In September 2024 the couple began living together in an apartment in Goregaon West. Later that same year, on November 12, 2024, they got married with the full consent of both their families.
Aditi has claimed that Abhineet’s behaviour started changing soon after the marriage. Frequent arguments broke out over her choice of clothing and other small everyday matters. She further alleged that instead of sharing the household expenses, her husband regularly took money from her. According to the complaint, an argument that began over a simple cup of coffee on January 1, 2025, soon turned into abuse. After that incident Abhineet became suspicious of Aditi’s character, accused her of having an affair, frequently checked her mobile phone, and eventually started sleeping in a separate room.

The TV star also stated that she was prevented from speaking to her parents. She further accused her mother-in-law of keeping her bridal jewellery, which included gold chains, rings, a diamond ring, a mangalsutra, and bangles. Despite several requests, the items were never given back.
