Breastfeeding is still something Indian society is not comfortable with when they see a woman do it in public. There has been outrage so many times before when women have breastfed in public. So, imagine the public’s disapproval when Mandakini did a scene in Ram Teri Ganga Maili where she was seen breastfeeding on the screen. Given how conservative society was back then, showing off a breastfeeding scene was a huge thing at that time. In a recent interview, Mandakini has opened up about that scene and how it was shot. She has also drawn a comparison between that scene and the nude scenes shot today.

Mandakini Talks About Her Breastfeeding Scene In Ram Teri Ganga Maili

In an exclusive interview with Hindustan Times, Mandakini has addressed her highly-talked-about breastfeeding scene in Ram Teri Ganga Maili. She said that she is not really breastfeeding in that scene but instead the scene is shot in such a way that it looks like she is actually breastfeeding. Furthermore, she said that the amount of cleavage that is seen in that scene is all ‘technically made’.

Drawing a comparison between the nude scenes of today’s times and that scene, Mandakini went on to say that that particular scene was nothing in front of it. She went on to say that her scene was shot in a pure form while today’s nude scenes are all about ‘sexuality’.
