National Award Winning Malayalam Actor Salim Kumar Passes Away At 56, Celebrities Mourn The Loss

The Malayalam film industry is currently mourning the loss of the National-Award winning actor Salim Kumar. The actor passed away at the age of 56, as per the news reports. He breathed his last at a private hospital where he was undergoing treatment for pneumonia. Salim Kumar Dies At The Age Of 56

Malayalam star, known for his extremely incredible performance in several films. The actor’s demise has left the fans and celebrities heartbroken. As per a Hindustan Times report, Salim Kumar was undergoing treatment for pneumonia at a private hospital. Family told PTI that the actor passed away at around 10.43 pm on Saturday. As per the official statement, the actor was immediately taken to the hospital after he complained about having breathing issues. Going by the reports, the actor was put on a ventilator support, and he had also undergone a liver operation a few years back. The actor was aged 56 at the time of his demise.

Actors Send Condolences

Actor Mammotty penned an emotional note for Salim Kumar. He remembered him as an actor who laughed and made others laugh and cry. Mammotty called his demise “an unending sorrow”.
