As per a report by Free Press Journal, Main Vaapas Aaunga is scheduled to stream on Netflix after a successful run at the theatres. Furthermore, the release date is reportedly August 7. What Is Main Vaapas Aaunga About?
Like every Imtiaz Ali film, even this one keeps switching between past and present. It revolves around Naseeruddin Shah’s character and the memories he carried from the 1947 India-Pakistan partition. Diljit Dosanjh plays his grandson, who takes up the responsibility of giving closure to his grandfather, who is on his deathbed. His character relives the horrors of his grandfather’s past as the story gradually unfolds. The film also has a soulful music album.
