Ram Kapoor’s name became controversial after he participated in a task that was a part of Lock Upp season 2. During that, he reportedly complained that the contestants were not given drinking water despite asking for it multiple times. While being frustrated, the actor stated that he had been asking for water for a long time and that the makers were making them do the task but not giving them water, which wasn’t right according to him. He asked them to send water. When the water didn’t arrive, Ram walked in the middle of the task area and refused to let it continue. Amid this host, Riteish Deshmukh intervened and stated that he could get hit by a paintball if he were in that area. The Bade Acche Lagte Hai star reacted by stating, “Lagne do, aajao maaro.” Then the host mentioned that the contestants were given their own water bottles and it was their job to carry them during the tasks. After this, the actor stepped aside, and the task continued.
