Recently, actor Harshad Chopra opened up about a traumatising incident, where he recalled being s*xually abused as a child. The actor shared how the incident left him torn and scared. Harshad Chopda Opens Up About S*xual Abuse Incident
On Lock Upp season 2, actor Harshad Chopda shared the horrifying incident when he was abused as a child by someone whom his parents trusted. The actor recalled that he was just 9-10 years old, and his parents trusted the person with their child. Harshad Chopda shared that once his parents trusted a person with him, and added that he was submissive as a child. Harsha Chopda revealed that one night the person revealed he rubbed himself on him. The actor said that he was fully dressed; the man was on top of him and was rubbing himself.
Harshad Chopda also went on to talk about his feelings during that exact moment. The actor said that he couldn’t understand what was happening to him and that the incident left him scared. According to him, the man kept doing things occasionally, and he couldn’t understand it. He spoke about his helplessness in this situation and how he couldn’t question the man during that moment. He also requested parents to be alert with their children and not trust anybody with them.
Was Harshad Chopda Eliminated?
The actor was eliminated from Lock Upp 2 on the episode that aired on July 25, 2026. However, Harshad made it back to the show the very next day through the comeback challenge.
