The news of the firing at actor Salman Khan’s residence broke the internet. The incident took place during the early hours of Sunday when two gunmen attacked Khan’s residence and vanished on their bikes. The incident instantly sent shock waves across industry inmates, celebrities and fans, with the Mumbai police force and government going on alert mode. After many hours of investigation, Maharashtra’s Anti-Terrorism Squad and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) have found traces of the attackers.

The latest update suggested by Delhi Police says there has been a development in the ongoing probe. According to PTI, a source close to the Delhi Police revealed that one of the two suspects is believed to be a criminal from Gurugram. One of the two attackers is said to be linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The five rounds of gun firing took place and the attackers left for Mehboob Studio. The investigation reveals that the bikes were bought on a second-hand basis from Raigad and were brought to Mumbai. According to top sources, the two men were related to Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang and were carried out by Rohit Godara, who operates Bishnoi’s gang in Rajasthan. Godara is actually one of the attackers who shot singer-politician Sidhu Moose Wala in 2022.
One of the two suspects is also believed to be a criminal from Gurugram and is a wanted criminal for killings and robberies. It is also said that the shootout was planned in the US, exactly where Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, Anmol Bishnoi delegated the task of choosing shooters to Rohit Godara. Link-ups to Bishnoi came under the spotlight when an unconfirmed Facebook post by Anmol Bishnoi who is currently in jail came out. The post seemed like a warning post by the team to Salman Khan who also said that this is just the trailer.
