Late Singer KK Had Once Revealed He Had To Take Up A Sales Job To Marry His Childhood Sweetheart Jyothy Krishna
You know, it’s always difficult for me to write about death because I have never lost someone close to me and I hope that I never have to experience it. However, some losses feel very personal because in a way, they were an integral part of our lives and the death of the legendary singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, fondly known as KK feels the same. It’s so sad and difficult to say that the legendary singer is no more with us, he passed away on Tuesday due to a heart attack while performing in Kolkata. And I can assure you that no one understood love better than him, he had once revealed that he had to take up a sales job to marry his partner Jyothi Krishna. This is just so sad.

On May 31, the Indian music industry witnessed the loss of another gem, KK was performing at Nazrul Manch in Kolkata, West Bengal. He was rushed to a hospital after he felt uneasy on the stage but doctors pronounced him dead, he is survived by his wife and two children. The ‘Pyaar Ke Pal’ singer was one of the most versatile artists because he understood the true meaning of love. During an appearance on the popular show – The Kapil Sharma Show, he revealed that when he was unemployed, he had to take up a sales job in order to marry his childhood sweetheart Jyothi Krishna as her parent wanted him to get a job before marrying their daughter.

He had mentioned that he did that job for three months and then left it. For the unversed, KK and Jyothi Krishna got married in the year 1991 before he released his first album titled ‘Pal’.
