Bollywood actor Kriti Sanon has been making headlines ever since criticism of her outfit in the recent Giva ad for Rakshabandhan started. Amid this, the actor is only focusing on the festival of Rakhi with her sister Nupur Sanon, and has the perfect reply for her trolls.
Kriti Sanon Posts On Rakshabandhan
On Friday, August 28, Kriti Sanon took to her Instagram and shared a picture of her Rakshabandhan celebrations with her sister Nupur Sanon. The duo’s hands with cute nazar rakhis were seen in the picture, but it was the caption that stole all the attention! Giving it back to the trolls still debating her outfit in an advertisement, Sanon referred to them as the “Rakhi fashion committee” and said that while they debate what’s morally right, she was focusing on celebrating the festival. Days after the criticism, the brand, Giva, decided to remove the Rakshabandhan ad after massive backlash. They also shared a statement saying that they had great regard for the Indian culture and festival and that they believed in celebrating moments with the entire family. The brand wrote that they wanted to share this love with the pets of the family as well and said that it might have hurt some sentiments. So, out of respect, they withdrew the advertisement from all media.
