In an interview with Elle India, Kriti described how when she first heard the script of the movie by Rhea Kapoor, one of the producers of the movie, she knew this was not a manifesto on feminism, or about male bashing. Instead she though it was all about “just about the good, clean fun of three women outsmarting the authorities to steal a cache of gold for themselves.”

While adding more to the excitement, she also mentioned how there’s so much excitement and joy around this film that this time she might actually just do the sequel.
