She appeared in a Raksha Bandhan advertisement where people criticised her clothes and a scene where she tied a dog a rakhi. However, it seems that she is unfazed by the noise, as she shared a photo dump that featured her loved ones, along with her rumoured beau Kabir Bahia.

Amid the Raksha Bandhan advertisement controversy, Kriti Sanon took to her Instagram and shared a carousel that featured pictures taken during a vacation and with her loved ones. In the first picture, we can see her wearing sunglasses and smiling widely as she looked at the camera. Further, we can see her sister planting a sweet kiss while Kriti is savouring the moment. The Tere Ishq Mein star is also seen enjoying a treat in the car. Then she added a selfie with her rumoured boyfriend, Kabir Bahia. After the Raksha Bandhan advertisement featuring Kriti Sanon was released, many thought that her outfit was inappropriate. She wore an off-white-coloured traditional outfit that consisted of a bralette-style blouse, a cape and a draped skirt. Many expressed their disappointment over the same. Additionally, people also criticised her for tying a rakhi to a dog. As of this writing, the actress has not directly responded to the chatter surrounding the advertisement.
As far as her professional front, she was also seen in Cocktail 2 alongside Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna.
