‘Koffee With Karan’ S7 Ep8: Shahid Kapoor And His ‘Preetiiii’ Kiara Advani’s Friendship Is All Shades Real And We’re Here For It
It is Thursday and that means the new episode of Koffee With Karan season 7 is out. In the eighth episode of the talk show, it is a Koffee veteran and a Koffee “virgin” that has graced the couch. Yes, I’m talking about Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani. Having watched the episode, I can say with utmost confidence that it was one of the most fun episodes of the show. The duo were so cosy, comfortable, and candid that it was hard to take my eyes off of them. And if you ask me, I think it is the rapport they share that makes it possible. I mean, it was literally Kiara Advani and Shahid Kapoor’s vibe that had me smiling throughout the episode of Koffee With Karan season 7.

Koffee With Karan season 7 episode 8 is out and it is the coolest duo – Kiara Advani and Shahid Kapoor – that have kept it cute and comfy on the couch. One of the things that made this episode a success was the friendship the Kabir Singh duo share with each other.

In episode 8 of Koffee With Karan season 7, while talking about giving and receiving gifts, Kiara Advani revealed that while shooting for Kabir Singh, both of them had gotten really sick and it was she who had recovered first. And so, on one of the days, she went shopping and got a pair of sunglasses for Shahid Kapoor as a get-well-soon gift. But just like all true friends, she told him on the couch that she also wants a gift back – now that’s what a real friendship looks like.

Another glimpse into their friendship came when during the Koffee With Karan season 7 rapid fire was going on and Karan Johar asked Kiara Advani what was the first thing that came to her name when he said Shahid Kapoor and she goes “Preetiiiiiii”. The way she said it had all of them laughing out loud uncontrollably. Explaining it further, she said that whenever they speak on the call, that is the only way he initiates the conversation.

It was during the same Koffee With Karan season 7 rapid fire that Kiara Advani revealed that Shahid Kapoor was her closest friend in the industry. At first, she passes it off as a joke saying it was because he was sitting with her on the couch but then later reveals how she truly feels about him. She said that he is one of those people she can call at any time and knows that he’ll be there for her – he is someone she can count on. She concludes by saying that he is a very important part of her life.

If you’re surprised about Kiara Advani and Shahid Kapoor’s friendship, so was I and it seems even the latter was taken aback equally. Yep, Shahid had no idea what his co-star thought about him and that he meant so much to her and these revelations by him literally melted his heart. Awww, so cute!
