‘Koffee With Karan’ S7 Ep 2: Sara Ali Khan Proudly Owns Being A Cheapskate And We Couldn’t Relate More

Ngl, I love watching Koffee With Karan – it is one of my guilty pleasures. And why not? I mean, you get to see all these rich and famous celebs grace the couch and reveal who they really are (even if it is a bit of themselves). And the best part is that at times you recognise that these celebs and you are far more similar than we would like to believe. Don’t believe me? Well, I have the perfect celeb as an example – Sara Ali Khan. Yep, Koffee With Karan season 7 episode 2 just dropped and as you might’ve already guessed, I have watched it. Now, while there were a lot of things that I loved about the episode it was Sara Ali Khan who stole the show for me. Why? Because I could relate to her so much (and so could the general public – I mean, we’re all cheap, aren’t we?).

On July 14, Koffee With Karan season 7 episode 2 starring Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan dropped and as expected they caused a riot on the koffee couch. From dirty talks to teasing each other with Vijay Deverakonda – they did it all and how. While both of them were fun, it was Sara Ali Khan that I related to the most. Especially when she circled that she was a cheapskate and proud of that.

And it wasn’t just her circling her bingo that proved it. No, no, it was also the time when Janhvi Kapoor recalled the story of Sara Ali Khan booking an Rs. 6000 hotel in Kedarnath with no heater – and all of that, just because it was half the price of the other hotel that had a heater. Now, that’s called saving if you ask me. 

Another instance of her being a cheapskate and not shy to vocalise it was when Karan Johar in the Koffee With Karan rapid fire round asked her which celebrity wedding did she love the most out of all, Sara Ali Khan immediately said Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding as it was on a balcony and intimate. This also meant that saste mein hogaya – which was not something Ranbir and Alia were thinking but the Atrangi Re actress was.

But the best instance of her being a cheapskate and proud of it was when she won the game round on Koffee With Karan and Karan Johar told her that the gift is something expensive, and Sara Ali Khan got super excited with the thought of selling it. Not kidding, she literally says at the end of the episode that she came out richer. Relatability level? Max.
