Koffee With Karan 8: “It Is Not Always Easy”: Sara Ali Khan On Being Civil With Ex-Boyfriend Kartik Aaryan

Bollywood is known for its films and of course some popular love affairs. A small world, if we may say so, one celebrity is bound to bump into some other, and day someone’s ex. Right? Well, addressing the “Aaryan” in the room, actresses Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday, opened up about their equation with their exes, and spoke about “moving on.” With Karan being Karan, and trying to dig out uncomfortable topics, the conversation around Sara and Ananya dating actor Kartik Aaryan, entered the room.
In the third episode of Koffee With Karan 8, both Ananya and Sara spoke about their current relationships and gave a us peek into their love lives. Speaking about the same, when asked about being civil with an ex-boyfriend, which the two actresses had in common, and how they’re both okay with Kartik Aaryan, Khan said–”I don’t wanna say that it is all easy, because it comes across as more frivolous that it actually is. It isn’t always easy. When you get invested in something, with somebody, it does affect you. But ultimately you have to rise beyond that.”

She further spoke about her realisations and said she believes there are no permanent predicaments in this business. “There is no point in making permanent friendships. There are no nevers and always. I don’t have unrealistic expectations from just anybody.” Well, we totally agree with her on the same.
The sparks of romance between Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan were first felt during the actress’ debut on Koffee With Karan, where she confessed she finds Kartik Aaryan absolutely cute and would wanna date him. Later that year, the two ended up doing a film together–Love Aaj Kal, and it is then their romance took the next step. The actors parted ways and are often spotted on various occasions today together.
