Her love for it was clearly evident in the beautiful product and story that she kept forth in the form of The Elephant Whisperers. In fact, for her Oscar-winning speech, Kartiki Gonsalves also dedicated this film to the “Motherland”. She is a person who is very connected to nature and is a travel freak who loves to explore the corner of the world, especially if it is a natural habitat.

Guneet Monga, the proud producer of the Academy Award-winning short film documentary The Elephant Whisperers expressed her emotions about the win on Twitter. Guneet Monga is also the founder of Sikhya Entertainment, a production banner that has given some noteworthy films and series like Gangs Of Wasseypur, Masaan and The Lunchbox among others. She is one of the leading names in the Indian film industry and bagged her second Oscars this time. In 2019, her film Period. End Of Sentence won the Academy Awards in the same category, and even her film The Lunchbox starring Irrfan Khan was nominated for the BAFTA awards too!
