Kartiki Gonsalves, the director of The Elephant Whisperers is of course a filmmaker, but do you know, that she is a photojournalist too? Kartiki Gonsalves loves to capture nature in all its rawness and also wildlife. Her love for it was clearly evident in the beautiful product and story that she kept forth in the form of The Elephant Whisperers.  In fact, for her Oscar-winning speech, Kartiki Gonsalves also dedicated this film to the “Motherland”.
