After an intimate wedding ceremony in Jaisalmer, Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra hosted a grand reception for their industry friends at St Regis in Mumbai on February 12. The glow of being newly married was quite evident on the couple’s faces, and needless to say, Kiara and Sidharth looked stunning for the occasion! She wore a gorgeous fishtail gown by Manish Malhotra whereas we were blinded by Sidharth’s dazzling suit. The decor for the event was kept chic and classy. A wall fully adorned with white flowers and Kiara and Sidharth’s initials was perfect! The new bride’s sister, Ishita Advani looked pretty in a pink outfit. Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mira Rajput opted for embellished sarees for this occasion whereas Shilpa Shetty and Bhumi Pednekar went full glam for the event! Disha Patani opted for a sea green outfit that had a skirt featuring a thigh-high slit and a top. Well, most of the stars wore outfits in subtle colours, Ananya Panday stood out in a black saree! Neetu Kapoor also wore an outfit in bright colours.

The couple was seen greeting Kajol and Ajay Devgn as they arrived at the venue. As for the B-town couples, Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur, Vivek Oberoi and Priyanka Alva Oberoi, Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal, and Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza were invited to the reception.

The reception party was no doubt a star-studded one but it feels like the stars did not get the dress code memo. Most of them wore pretty nude-ish colours, which sort of did not go with the theme of the occasion.
