Kiara Advani On Her Role In Yash’s Toxic
Kiara Advani recently embraced motherhood after welcoming her first child with husband, actor Sidharth Malhotra. After a break, she will again be seen on the big screen, and this time alongside Yash in Toxic. A sultry song featuring the two stars also dropped a while back, and the chemistry was clearly on-point. Kiara Advani has now addressed the reason why she picked the role in Toxic, and in an interview with Femina, the actor revealed that she was “mesmerised” by the depth of her character during the reading session. Kiara Advani said that it was a meaty character, and she also felt prepared enough to take this kind of role at the point in her career.
Furthermore, Kiara Advani also spoke about the practise of stereotyping a woman’s character, and how she feels that it’s unfair. Kiara opined that when a woman is so much more, then why fit her characters into stereotypes?
The first few glimpses of Kiara Advani’s character look quite promising. The other female star cast in the film are Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth.
