While having a chat with Bombay Times, Kiara Advani expressed how Toxic challenged her understanding of love and relationships, along with the emotional freedom. She stated that with Toxic, she thinks it completely alters the way one sees the gender dynamics. She recalled that when the director Geetu Mohandas narrated the script to her, it took her a while to understand that, “Okay, this is also normal.” She added that the situation may be gray and it may not be conventional, but there is a certain liberation in love. She further stated that when Nadia was narrated to her, she wished she were also capable of being detached and liberated in her own thoughts

Toxic is truly a special one for Kiara Advani as it will also mark her return to the big screen after giving birth to her and Sidharth Malhotra’s daughter, Saraayah.
