‘Kasautii Zindagi Kay’s Cezanne Khan All Set To Marry Girlfriend Afsheen, Says There’s No Perfect Age To Get Married

When it comes to marriage in India, there are some stereotypes that we love spreading – women should not be older than men, men should be taller than women, should get married by 30 (max), and so on and so forth. But every now and then, our very own celebs break these stereotypes. Look at Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover, etc. Well, adding to that list is one more celeb – Cezanne Khan. Yep, the Kasautii Zindagi Kay lead actor Cezanne Khan is all set to marry his girlfriend Afsheen and goes on to say that there is no right, ideal age to get married. Couldn’t agree more!

Cezanne Khan, who played the famous Anurag Basu in Kasautii Zindagi Kay, recently opened up about marrying his 3-year-long girlfriend Afsheen in 2022. In an interview, the actor spoke about how there is no ideal age to get married.

The 44-year-old actor fell for Afsheen in 2020 when she had cooked biryani for him. In fact, Cezanne Khan on various occasions has gone ahead and described her as “simple, family-oriented, and honest”.

Cezanne Khan and Afsheen were all set to tie the knot back in 2020 but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the wedding was postponed. Talking about his marriage to Afsheen, the actor said, “We have been together for three years now and are happy. Had it not been for the pandemic, we would have been married by now. We plan to tie the knot later this year. Anyway, I feel there is no perfect age to get married.”

Cezanne Khan further explained, “I did not want to be in a rush to get married. I was looking for someone who is simple, family-oriented, and honest. I was also looking for someone with good values and who would respect our relationship. And then I met Afsheen.”

Breaking marriage-related stereotypes has become a common thing for celebs to do in India. And trust me, I’m not complaining. A person should get married when they are ready and when they find someone who they are looking for. To get married just because it is the right age doesn’t really make any sense, at least not to me.
