Kangana Ranaut Weighs In On CJP Protests Demanding Gyanesh Kumar’s Exit, Calls It A ‘Conspiracy’

In recent events, actor-politician Kangana Ranaut has slammed the protesters demanding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation. She has called them “anti-national forces” while speaking to the media in Lucknow. She further claimed that a conspiracy was underway to destabilise India and said that even the ordinary citizens were beginning to question these protests.

What Kangana Ranaut Said

Kangana Ranaut’s comments came after thousands of people were detained by the Delhi Police ahead of the protest planned by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) at Jantar Mantar on October 10. It was held over the irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls. Ranaut was asked about the police action taken against the protesters after she arrived in Lucknow. The Mandi representative alleged that the ordinary people were now seeing those involved in the protests and questioning their actions. For the unversed, the BJP MP was travelling to Ayodhya to visit the Ram Mandir and offer prayers. She also said that many forces were working to protect the country and urged that care must be taken to make sure that the citizens were not inconvenienced.

Currently, the CJP is demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar after the alleged irregularities were found linked to the SIR of electoral rolls. The pressure group raised concerns over the alleged wrongful deletion of voters and urged for transperancy in the process. They further called for a large protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar on Saturday, October 10. However, the leaders, Abhijeet Dipke, Ashutosh Ranka, and Saurav Das were detained from inside the aircraft in Delhi.
