Kangana Ranaut Calls Ban On The Kerala Story Unconstitutional, Says “It Was Approved By Censor Board”

The Kerala Story helmed by Sudipto Sen and led by actress Adah Sharma has managed to do quite well at the box office irrespective of all the controversies that surround it. In states like West Bengal and Tamil Nadu, the government also imposed a ban citing religious clashes. Recently, actress Kangana Ranaut addressed the ban and shed her thoughts on the same. As per which, the actress did not support the government’s decision of the ban and gave a reason for her it too!

The sharp and unapologetic opinions of Kangana Ranaut are no surprise to any of us. The actress often talks about various issues in Indian politics and entertainment. And similarly, she finally shed her thoughts on the ban put by the West Bengal and Tamil Nadu governments on Adah Sharma’s The Kerala Story. According to the actress, the film was passed by the Central Board of Film Certification and no government has the authority to go against that. Kangana Ranaut believes that banning a movie which was approved by the CBFC is like going against the constitution.

The Manikarnika actress also acknowledged that The Kerala Story was doing good at the box office and was being loved by the audience. Kangana Ranaut further stated that if the Bollywood industry is benefiting from the film and the audience is appreciating it, then there needs to be no ban on it, as per the news.
