As per a Mid-Day report, Phantom Studios tried to reach out to Jio Studios multiple times to have settlement discussions, but they did not receive a satisfactory response from either the production house or the director, Vikas Bahl. The report also informs that Phantom Studios owns 50 per cent rights in Queen and its sequel. According to the banner, they have not agreed to any sequels or even an adaptation of the film.

However, the delays in production and other problems could never lead to the release of such films. On the other hand, neither Vikas Bahl nor the production house has commented on this lawsuit as of now.
