Peeps can now breathe easy after seeing Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra’s official wedding pictures. Phew! I am sure their pictures were more awaited than any other Bollywood shaadi so far because there was lingering uncertainty about their wedding. The reason for this is neither Kiara nor Sidharth had ever openly talked about their relationship except for that time on Koffee With Karan when the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actress confirmed that they are “more than close friends”. So, it was a bit of a maybe, maybe not wala scene here! And looks like Kangana Ranaut has become a fan of Kiara and Sidharth keeping things under wraps before they tied the knot. As they say, “Keep it private until it’s permanent!”

So, hua yun ki screenwriter Aniruddha Guha was surprised to know that Kiara and Sidharth have said their wedding vows. He shared a picture of them all smiles from the mandap and asked if they were dating. Kangana Ranaut decided to issue a clarification on this on the couple’s behalf.

She wrote that yes, Sid-Kiara were dating but their relationship went beyond movies and promotions. Ranaut also wrote that the couple never indulged in attention-seeking gimmicks to ‘milk limelight’. She further called Sid-Kiara a genuine couple and lauded their ‘integrity and ‘genuine love’.

After keeping their fans and all entertainment journalists waiting with bated breaths for their shaadi ki khush khabri, Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra tied the knot on February 7, 2023, in presence of close family and friends. Unki raataan lambiyaan hui on the sets of Shershaah which was the first film they shared screenspace in.
