It is Saturday, and Kangana Ranaut has launched her weekend ka vaar on Karan Johar! Her dislike for Karan is not unknown as she has been quite vocal about it on social media, and never leaves a chance to slam him. This time, she has trolled him for his bankrolled film, Selfiee, not doing well at the box office. The film stars Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi in the lead, and hit theatres on February 24, 2023. She took to her Instagram to say that no one is talking about Selfiee flopping but when her films don’t do well, everyone mocks her.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Kangana Ranaut pointed out that Selfiee which is produced by Karan Johar has not made even Rs 10 lakhs on the first day of its release. She further wrote that no one is talking about this. Kangana also said that had it been her flop movie, people would jump to mock and bully her.

In her next Instagram story, she shared a screenshot of a news article that talked about the Internet users’ reactions to Selfiee wherein Akshay Kumar was compared to Kangana. Sharing the article, the Emergency actress wrote that she was looking for articles that talked about Selfiee being a flop but found one centred on her. She added a sarcastic comment saying that somehow this is also her fault.

The recently released film, Selfiee, which also stars Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty is the remake of the Malayalam language film titled, Driving License starring Prithviraj and Suraj Venjaramoodu. Directed by Raj Mehta who also helmed Good Newwz, Selfiee has received a lukewarm response at the box office.

On the work front, Kangana Ranaut has the film Emergency in the pipeline. She essays the role of Indira Gandhi in the film. Recently, she took to Twitter how when she locked in October 20th for the release of Emergency, Tiger Shroff’s Ganapath and a Bhushan Kumar film was also announced on the same date. Hence, she said that she will only announce the release date of her film a month earlier.
