Kalki Koechlin Reveals On Distancing From Anurag Kashyap After Split
According to media reports, Kalki Koechlin recently opened up about her divorce from Anurag Kashyap, whom she married in 2011. She mentioned that during the initial years after the divorce, which were hard for them, they realised they needed to stay out of each other’s lives, as it was hurtful to see the other person with someone else. The actress further said that it does take a few years; they didn’t get to it immediately, adding that distance helped them. Talking about their current dynamic, Kalki mentioned, “Now we are in a good place, and we are able to catch up once in a while.”

Her Take On Therapy
In the same interaction, Kalki Keochlin mentioned that according to her, therapy alone doesn’t help. She mentioned that sometimes when someone is going through a rough time, it’s even difficult to do therapy, as one needs to feel their grief for some time. While talking about its importance, Kalki stated, “Therapy helps in the long term, and I highly recommend it.” She also shared that healing needs time and emotional honesty and that taking therapy becomes effective when it is assisted with the willingness to process the grief rather than suppressing it. It’s worth noting that the actress has tied the knot with Guy Hershberg, and the two also welcomed a daughter!
For the unversed, Kalki and Anurag Kashyap first crossed paths while working on Dev D, which was also her debut film. However, trouble in paradise led them to go their separate ways in 2015.
