Kajol Describes Her Mother Tanuja As ‘Captain And Queen’ On Her 78th Birthday. Kaafi Heartwarming And Sweet!
Yesteryear actress Tanuja has reigned over the hearts of the audience ever since she made her debut in 1960. She has some of the greatest films like Do Chor, Haathi Mere Saathi, Jewel Thief and Mere Jeevan Saathi to her name, and also has won many awards and accolades for her contributions to the field of cinema. It is Tanuja’s 78th birthday, and fans have poured in wishes for her from all over the country. Her daughter Kajol also took to her Instagram to share a sweet birthday note for her along with a video which was a compilation of some of her best roles.

The video that Kajol shared had snippets from Tanuja’s career as a child actress as well. Asha Bhosle’s song Raat Akeli Hai was playing in the background. alongside the video, Kajol wrote in the caption, “She’s completed 70 odd years in the movies and 48 as my mother .. through this entire journey never once did I feel anything but safe and loved.. so many trials and yet she discussed everything that makes a life worth living with us.”
Further ahead, she wrote, “From death to compassion to charity to anger bitterness love and forgiveness. Like she says “if I keep telling u these things then one day they will take root when u need them most”… and I thank u everyday for making me a thinking responsible feeling adult.. u taught us to soar not by throwing us off the cliff but by flying off it yourself and letting us watch u soar unafraid.
