Kadak Singh Trailer: Pankaj Tripathi, Sanjana Sanghi Promise A Twisted Thriller With Kadak Performances!

Pankaj Tripathi, Sanjana Sanghi starrer film Kadak Singh has been the talk of the town ever since the actor went live to make a big announcement and then forgot all about it to tease us. And now the much-awaited trailer of the film has been unveiled at the opening ceremony of the 54th International Film Festival of India, Goa. To say that the trailer has us feeling intrigued would be an understatement. Pankaj Tripathi has left us impressed once again with his dialogue delivery and we’re ready to meet AK Shrivastav! Directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhary, Kadak Singh starring Pankaj Tripathi, Sanjana Sanghi, Parvathy Thiruvothu and Bangladeshi actor Jaya Ahsan will premiere on the OTT platform Zee5 on December 8. Kadak Singh is produced by Wiz Films, KVN Productions in association with Opus Communications and co-produced by Shyam Sunder and Indrani Mukherjee. The trailer of the film opens with Pankaj Tripathi’s AK Shrivastav, who happens to be the Joint Director of the Department of Financial Crimes, struggling to remember his life as he battles retrograde amnesia. During his time in the hospital, he hears different stories of his life from people claiming to be his friends, family and co-workers but the conflicting narratives and broken memories make it tough for him to tell the difference between facts and fiction. It follows AK as he goes on a journey to find the truth behind his own condition while investigating a crime and struggling to keep his family together.

FYI, before releasing on Zee5, Kadak Singh will have a World Premiere at IFFI, Goa under the Gala Premieres category. Speaking about Kadak Singh, Pankaj Tripathi shared that this character is unlike anything he has portrayed before while revealing that AK Shrivastav has a layered personality which he enjoyed portraying. And we’re just excited to see this nuanced actor nail his role once again! Discussing the trailer launch, the actor revealed that it was exciting to launch the trailer at the prestigious event and he’s just as excited for the film’s World Premiere as well.

Sanjana Sanghi Calls Kadak Singh Her PhD In Acting
Sanjana Sanghi also spoke about working on Kadak Singh with Pankaj Tripathi. The actress shared that they knew that they were onto something special ever since the first narration of the film while adding that playing the complex character of Sakshi (AK Shrivastav’s daughter) and working with her inspiration Pankaj Tripathi who plays the role of her father in the film is nothing short of a masters and PhD in acting. Parvathy Thiruvothu and Bangladeshi star Jaya Ahsan also expressed their excitement for the film’s World Premiere. Parvathy said that it was magical to work with Pankaj, Sanjana, Jaya, Paresh Pahuja and Aniruddha Roy Chowdhary among others. Jaya Ahsan called it a very “enriching experience” while expressing her excitement of having an opportunity to work with Pankaj Tripathi. She also revealed that it was on her bucket list to work with Aniruddha.
