NewJeans’ Bold Move To Rejoin ADOR Ignites Heated Debate
The trouble started with a long flight and many papers were leaked and other groups under HYBE like ILLIT, LE SSERAFIM were pulled into the mess. Now, with NewJeans’s return, fans think they should make things right with them. People from other countries also spoke up online. They say it doesn’t feel right for the five members to come back and pretend everything’s fine. Some fans also recalled interviews where the members’ comments hurt others.
Hence, they demand a public apology. Not just fans, Korean media and netizens also want the members to say sorry. They pointed at the member’s comment where they slammed the K-pop industry and system. Media and netizens added that they shouldn’t have turned against them if they were going to come back.
One user wrote, “The shamelessness to walk back in that building and act like it’s all good will be a sight to behold. Hope they apologise publicly and privately to everyone in the building.” Another user wrote, “There’s absolutely no way you’re letting them back after the way they treated ILLIT and LESSERAFIM??.”

Following which, many tokkis came in defence. They said that the members don’t owe an apology to anyone. Instead, the company should say sorry to them. In their words, “newjeans are NOT apologizing to anyone and if anything they should start cussing people out.”
