NCT Wish Slammed For Copying BTS Song 2.0, Fans Are Pissed Off!

Plagiarism controversies have become so common in the K-pop world that many fans no longer take them seriously. They often brush it off and move on. However, the latest controversy involving NCT Wish has created a massive stir across social media. Read on to know all about it and what the internet is saying.

NCT Wish released their first full album, Ode to Love, on April 20, 2026. Right after the release, fans noticed that one of the songs had the exact same title as BTS’s new song 2.0. Not just the song, many people said that the lyrics seemed similar too.

This one discovery led to many more accusations. Fans started bringing up older songs as well. They compared NCT Dream’s ‘Life Is Still Going On’ with BTS’s ‘Life Goes On’ and said that both the title and the visuals looked almost the same. Another old case that came up again was SuperM’s ‘We Do’, which some fans felt copied BTS’s ‘Dynamite’.

The conversation grew bigger when a famous music video director who has worked with TXT openly accused the team behind NCT Wish’s ‘Find My Wish’ music video. He claimed they copied the entire starry and dreamy concept from TXT’s Map Of A Star.

One user wrote, “OMGGGG! This is insane?????!!!! They literally copied the entire thing. Not done!” Another user wrote, “No wayyyy! This can’t be trueeee! I am just *speechless*.
