BTS RM Sparks Huge Controversy After Smoking In Public
BTS just completed the Japan leg of the Arirang World Tour. The concerts were a big success, with fans cheering loudly and enjoying every moment. The group received a lot of love for their energetic performances. However, the happy vibes and mood did not last long as leader RM found himself in the middle of a controversy.
On April 22, Japanese news outlet Shukan Bunshun published a report about the ‘Come Back To Me’ singer. In the report it was mentioned that while the group was in Japan, RM was seen smoking in public areas in Shibuya. He visited several places that did not allow smoking. One person who saw him claimed that the ‘Come Back To Me’ singer and his friends stayed at one spot for three hours and RM’s walking looked shaky.
The report also added that a security guard came and warned them to stop. Not just this, they also reportedly threw their cigarette butts on the floor and a staff member had to pick them up.
The news spread quickly online and triggered strong backlash against RM. Many netizens expressed disappointment and anger over his actions. They felt it was careless, especially in a public place where smoking is not allowed.
