BTS Jungkook Responds To Haters Questioning His Love For Anime

Recently, Jungkook changed his Instagram profile picture to characters from the popular Netflix animation series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Soon after, Netflix Brazil replied by changing their official account header to a scene from the same show. They also updated their bio to mention that the ‘Standing Next To You’ singer had watched Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. This moment made rounds online and had fans talking nonstop.

However, not everyone’s reaction was positive. A person posted a negative comment questioning Jungkook’s love for anime. The post claimed that the K-pop idol had worked so hard from a young age that he had no time to watch anime and called him a novice in the area. Jungkook saw the message and directly responded through his Instagram stories. He wrote back asking who the person thought they were to judge him like that. His sharp yet calm reply showed that he does not stay silent when people question his genuine interests.

Fans praised the ‘Standing Next To You’ singer for standing up for himself. Many pointed out that he has faced unnecessary hate and judgement on many topics in the past, but this time he chose to call out the negativity regarding his passion for anime. They appreciated how confidently he handled the situation without being rude.
