A fan named Tricia shared her experience on social media. She attended the Ami Paris show and stood in the front row with a handmade poster and sign for Choi Wooshik, one of her favourite actors. She praised his acting skills and diverse roles. When the actor approached the fan barricade at the end of the show, he reportedly walked straight to her section. According to her, he signed autographs for others around her but completely avoided her poster and sign. He did not make eye contact and appeared to ignore her deliberately, even though she was the only one with items dedicated to him.

The fan, who is Black, felt shocked and confused. She said the moment left an awkward silence among the other fans. While she did not directly call it racism, she wondered if unconscious bias or other factors played a role. She noted that she was the only Black person in her section. After the incident, she felt unsure about what she had done wrong. She even saw the actor again nearby but chose to walk away to avoid any discomfort.
