JYP Entertainment, TWICE’s agency, released a firm statement addressing the situation. They revealed that the members had received letters containing inappropriate content and delusional photos. The sender was also reported to be loitering around the group’s workplace and residential areas, causing significant distress and anxiety to the members and those around them. The agency emphasised the severity of these actions, citing the Act on Punishment of Stalking Crimes. They clearly stated that repeatedly sending disturbing letters and physically following the artists constitutes stalking, a punishable offense. JYP Entertainment clarified that this behaviour is entirely against the wishes of the TWICE members.
